Simple + healthy treat. Make them in just 10 minutes!

Who doesn't love the apple & cinnamon combo? I do! Some people think this is a "fall flavor" but I respectfully disagree. This is a healthy treat for anytime of the year! And I always suggest adding a little extra cinnamon when you can! This is quick and easy and can be vegetarian and gluten-free too!
Guilt-free Apple Cinnamon Protein Bites
Ingredients
1 medium apple chopped
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 Tbsp. Unsweetened almond milk
3/4 cup of oat flour
2 scoops of whey or vegan vanilla Shakeology
1 tsp. of ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. of ground cloves
2 Tbsp of coconut sugar
Only takes about 10-15 minutes and the kids can help out too!
Directions
Microwave apple in a small, microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute.
Place cooked apple, extract, and almond milk in a blender, cover. Blend until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
If needed, Create oat flour by pulsing rolled oats in a blender or food processor.
In a medium bowl, add oat flour, almond flour, Shakeology , cinnamon, and cloves.
Slowly pour in apple mixture, stirring constantly, until a soft cookie-dough-texture is reached. (If needed add a little more almond milk to soften the dough.)
Wet your hands and shape into 10 even balls, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Dust donut balls with coconut sugar.
Serve immediately or store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
